Over the years, I’ve joined up and supported friends taking on the island. It’s an incredible venture, whether tackling it as an intense 12-hour endurance mission or doing it over a few days of wild camping. Every trip is built around a low-impact ethos: plastic-free, plant-based, and beach cleans along the way in support of Surfers Against Sewage and the Isle of Wight Youth Trust.
